The EVOTECH™ Endoscope Cleaner and Reprocessor is the first Food and Drug Administration-cleared system that both cleans and high level disinfects endoscopes. Developed by Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), division of Ethicon, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company, the EVOTECH™ System makes endoscope reprocessing a totally automated process, eliminating tedious brushing, resulting in complete confidence that endoscope reprocessing is safe, fast and consistent each time. This can save valuable time, improve safety and prevent infection.

Now, the labor-intensive and time-consuming process of cleaning is a thing of the past. The EVOTECH™ System, the first Food and Drug Administration-cleared system for totally automated cleaning, provides healthcare professionals with consistency, efficiency and confidence in endoscope reprocessing.

After procedure room precleaning, one endoscope is loaded into each of the EVOTECH™ System’s two basins. The endoscope is selected and the reprocessing begins. Automated cleaning occurs using CIDEZYME® GI Enzymatic Detergent, followed by a single-metered dose of CIDEX® OPA Concentrate Solution OPA•C which assures precise high-level disinfection. Plus the EVOTECH™ System automatically detects leaks and tests MEC levels, ensuring added consistency. All of this increases efficiency and frees staff to focus on patient care.
